Who Knew?
Who knew that the little area known as “Pleasant View” across the river would someday become host to the most notable projects in Jackson County. On Nov 14, 1890 the area east of Black River Falls known as Pleasant View became an official Wisconsin Township. The township would extend east of the Black River carving out a corridor between Hawk Island Road to the south and Sand Pillow Road to the north until finally coming together with the majestic Black River Forest.
