Help Wanted: Municipal Deputy Clerk/Treasurer

The Town of Brockway, Jackson County, WI, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Full-Time Municipal Deputy Clerk/Treasurer.

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills to assist in managing the Town’s administrative and financial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Public records maintenance
  • Budgeting and financial management
  • Payroll, utility billing, and collections
  • Licensing and election administration
  • General municipal government operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of municipal government procedures
  • Experience with accounting and financial systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Workhorse software

Salary & Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $20.00 to $25.00 (based on experience and skills)
  • Health insurance (12% employee contribution)
  • Dental and optical insurance
  • Vacation and sick leave
  • Wisconsin State Retirement (10% employee contribution)

This position does not require residency in Brockway. You will work closely with the Town Clerk/Treasurer.
