Help Wanted: Municipal Deputy Clerk/Treasurer
The Town of Brockway, Jackson County, WI, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Full-Time Municipal Deputy Clerk/Treasurer.
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills to assist in managing the Town’s administrative and financial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Public records maintenance
- Budgeting and financial management
- Payroll, utility billing, and collections
- Licensing and election administration
- General municipal government operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of municipal government procedures
- Experience with accounting and financial systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Workhorse software
Salary & Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $20.00 to $25.00 (based on experience and skills)
- Health insurance (12% employee contribution)
- Dental and optical insurance
- Vacation and sick leave
- Wisconsin State Retirement (10% employee contribution)
This position does not require residency in Brockway. You will work closely with the Town Clerk/Treasurer.
